Jessica Damon is a new mama who loves dance and most things dancer-ly. She makes video and dance theater pieces about food, both real and chemically derived, and things that make her cry, laugh, or otherwise feel alive. Her work has been presented in the Boulder/Denver area by Sans Souci Festival for International Dance Cinema, the Boulder Museum for Contemporary Art, Dance Under Construction, and Packinghouse Center for the Performing Arts, and in the Bay Area by Counterpulse, ODC, Women on the Way Festival, Dance Mission, Shawl Anderson Dance Center, and The Garage. Jessica teaches dance and Pilates, but spends most of her time holding a sweet-smelling babe and dreaming about storytelling in motion.
