Kate Speer

A Maine girl at heart, Kate Speer is a dancer, choreographer, and writer who relishes a good beat that sends the sweaty, exhausted body into motion. Based in Denver, she is currently working with Gesel Mason, Daughter Cells, Creative Strategies for Change, and RedLine on social justice work, dance explorations, and some run-of-the-mill mischief. She holds an MFA in Dance from the University of Colorado Boulder and has had the pleasure to perform in work by Nathan Blackwell, Raja Feather Kelly, Claudia Lavista & Omar Carrum, Tania Isaac, Patrick Mueller, and Willi Dorner. www.katespeerdance.org
